Welcome to OurCoop’s interim holding website.
Following the merger between Chelmsford Star and Midcounties Co-operative, together on the 26th January 2026, CentralCoop, became a unified brand, OurCoop.
OurCoop is the largest independent co-operative in the UK, owned by more than one million Members and supported by more than 13,000 colleagues working in communities across the country.
We are proud to be independent and part of the global co-operative network as one of 306 organisations from 105 countries who are members of the International Cooperative Alliance.
Whilst we continue to work on bringing OurCoop’s family together, we hope you enjoy exploring OurCoop family interim website.
